Dr. Fitzgerald is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon and third generation physician in a family with over 100 years experience in medicine.
A graduate of Notre Dame University and the University of Illinois Medical School. Dr. Fitzgerald completed his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in addition to serving with the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam.
Often called upon to serve as an internationally recognized expert, Dr. Fitzgerald has also obtained specialized training from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, University of Sydney in Australia, and the National Hospital for Neurological Diseases in London, England. He is a former faculty member of Florida State University.
Dr. Fitzgerald is on the medical staff at Capital Regional Medical Center.
